Legal Assistant (Part Time)
Nathan & Nathan PC is growing! We are in search of a Legal Assistant to join our team in our new Nashville, TN, office! This position will be part time, with the potential to become full time as our operation in Nashville grows. The ideal candidate will thrive by being able to work independently, without continuous supervision.
Responsibilities: Preparation of Documents, Data Entry, Attorney court appearance support, Communication with court officials, Other duties as assigned
Requirements: Previous Clerical Experience (1 year), Current Notary Public for Tennessee (not required, but a plus), Legal or Collections experience (not required, but a plus)
Skills: Computer savvy, Ability to Multitask, Strong Communication skills, Independent/Self Starter
Location: Nashville, TN, Travel: 10%, Schedule: M-F – with a flexible start/finish time.

Georgia Associate Attorney
Regional creditor’s rights firm based in Birmingham, Alabama, is seeking an full-time licensed Georgia Attorney to work in Birmingham, AL, with 0-3 years of practice experience preferred. Candidate will be responsible for the intake and substantiation of new claims received from clients in addition to reviewing and signing pleadings and correspondence. Candidate may also be responsible for attending court hearings and managing negotiations with various parties. Candidate should be proficient with computers and technology, and should be able to manage multiple duties and responsibilities. A self-starter with a strong work ethic are required. Candidate should be able to work well independently and also in a team setting. Candidate must be in good standing with the Georgia Bar Association. Possessing a license and good standing with the MS, TN, and/or AL Bar Associations will be given priority consideration, but additional licensure is not required. The ability and willingness to obtain licensure in another jurisdiction will also be considered an advantage.

Tennessee Associate Attorney

Associate Attorney:
Position will range between 20-30 hours per week with flexible scheduling options. Candidate must be able to multitask and have a strong attention to detail. Candidate’s job responsibilities will include document/pleading review. Candidate must be licensed in either Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi, or Georgia with licensure in multiple states preferred.
